We spent the first night on the River Walk. Although the boat ride took a little longer than Little Buddy would have liked ("All done!" "Sorry, buddy, we can't jump off and into the water!"), it was a lot of fun and the decorations were gorgeous.
Enjoying the first part of the boat ride!
We spent the next morning at the Children's Museum. It is an amazing place and our little guy really enjoyed it!
Lots of fun with the trolley and pretending to be a farmer!
We headed to Sea World after nap time. Little Buddy loves it there, not just for the animals, but for the Sesame Street part of the park. Particular favorites this trip included the dolphins, the sea lion show, feeding the sea lions, and, of course, the Sesame Street characters!
Loaded in the stroller and headed into the park!
First roller coaster!
Posing for pictures!
Utter joy while watching the Sesame Street show (followed quickly by utter despair once they left the stage)!
Spoiled beyond measure! Both brother and little sister with their new Sesame Street purchases: Bert and Prairie Dawn!
We spent Sunday morning at the Alamo. It's a great place to let him run around and burn off some energy before our long drive back home (thankfully, he did great with the drive to and from San Antonio. We were pleasantly surprised!).
Lots of fun at the "Al-mo" with its cannons!
So went our first family vacation with two kids. I have to say it was a big success and am a little less worried about our flying back to Ohio next month!
Good night,
LBM
