Christmas Fun!

We had quite an exciting Christmas Eve and Christmas this year!  It was actually the first Christmas we have had without our families (we'll be traveling in January for a late Ohio Christmas celebration), but I think we were still able to make it memorable for Little Buddy (plus, I know he'll be excited by more Christmas gifts next month).

On Christmas Eve, we braved the movie theaters with a three year-old and a two month-old to take Little Buddy to his first movie.  We were thrilled with how great he did (thank goodness we brought plenty of oranges and fruit strips for the times he started getting antsy)!  We saw Disney's Frozen and all of us enjoyed it.  Well, Little Sister slept through it, which added to entire theater's enjoyment, I'm sure!

Pretending to play the ukelele with Olaf!

After the movie and the shortest nap ever, it was time to make Christmas cookies.  Love my little baking helper!

Rolling the dough!

Our Christmas Eve is magical each year because Santa always finds time to stop at our house during his world travels.  Little Buddy was really excited by it this year!

Little Buddy discovering that Santa has stopped by, allowing him one more chance to beg for his football helmet and scooter!

And then after all the excitement, it was time to sleep so we could wake up to Christmas morning and...

Presents!

Little Sister got her first present, a set of books from her big brother!

Sweet siblings!

What is this?  Santa came through with Little Buddy's football helmet and scooter!  Hooray!

Because we didn't travel for the holiday and had no family in town, we met up with some of our friends who were in similar situations for Christmas dinner.  Little Buddy had a great time playing with his friends before we headed home to meet Uncle C and Miss A.

Happy Birthday Jesus!

My very tired buddy with his friends!

Showing off his new football gear for Uncle C!

We had a lovely Christmas as a family of four and hope the holidays find all of you happy and healthy as well!

Merry Christmas,

LBM
