Mimi And Pop-Pop Come to Town

We were very lucky this month in that Mimi and Pop-Pop came down to visit!  We all had a great time, and they were a wonderful help as they played with Little Buddy while Momma and Daddy worked on the bathroom, school stuff, baby stuff, and even a date night.  Thank you Mimi and Pop-Pop!

Little Buddy was completely fascinated by a feisty cicada he found.

Little Buddy also introduced them to one of his favorite super heroes, Mushroom Man, the statue outside Mellow Mushroom Pizza.  His love for Mushroom Man is unparalleled!

 

"Do muscles like Mushroom Man, Pop-Pop!" 

Even thought it was still pretty warm (Oh Texas), Little Buddy was pretty set on playing outside with Mimi and Pop-Pop too.

Happy Birthday, Pop-Pop!  Hope you wanted some candle blowing assistance!

Another big part of the visit was Little Buddy helping Pop-Pop assemble the barn that Pop-Pop had built for him.  The barn is actually a model of Little Buddy's great grandfather's barn, which was built on family land in Ohio in the 1930s.  So cool to have such a neat piece of family history!

 

Love watching Little Buddy learn how to be handy!  Such a great skill to pass down.

It was a fun visit and I know Little Buddy is going to have even more fun when he and Daddy visit Ohio next month!
