Big Brother Prep

This week we had Little Buddy's big sibling class at the hospital.  He is very excited about becoming a big brother and about helping Momma with the baby, so we thought he would really enjoy the class.

And honestly, some of the class seems to have stuck with him.  Little Buddy was very insistent that he get a baby doll like he had used at the class so that he could practice.  After searching for an inexpensive doll that wasn't overly "girly" (but had to be a girl because it was to practice for baby sister), he found one he liked.  Immediately, he took to taking care of her!

Seeing scenes like this just warm my heart.  I do hope that Little Buddy can be not only a great big brother to Baby Sister, but also that they become good friends.  I hope to have many nights with them snuggled in bed with me as we read stories together.  Looking forward to completing our family!
