Our favorite boy finished out February with a lot of fun and another kids' marathon under his belt!
This month we got to show lots of LOVE! Little Buddy was able to go watch his best friend, E, perform in a musical and was so interested and focused in the performance.
Great job E!
Little Buddy then had another one of those random week-long breaks (I'm not a fan, but everybody in our school district seems to be...sigh), which meant he got to be home with Momma for Valentine's Day and some adventures!
My handsome Valentine!
Ready for a Valentine Cookie!
Happy Valentine's Day from all of us!
Hanging out with Momma and getting to see the donkey statue he loves at Market Street!
After his February break, it was time to get ready for another seasonal shift to prepare for Easter!
Enjoying a Royalty Roll on Fat Tuesday before getting ashes on Ash Wednesday!
Of course, the big news of the month was The Woodlands Marathon events and Charity Challenge, which nicely lined up with Rare Disease Awareness Day.
Last days of training; ready to race!
Mr. WILLPower is ready to go!
Coming into the finish!
8th time as a kids' marathon finisher!
Great showing from Team WILLPower in the 5K and 2K!
Proud of our runners!
Continuing to show our WILLPower Pride on Rare Disease Day!
Waiting for Charity Challenge Results!
Mr. WILLPower does it again!
Ready to cheer on Momma in the half!
Half is done! Successful WILLPower event yet again!
Height and Weight
Thankfully, we didn't have another 3 pound drop, but he did drop down to 115.4 pounds. I'm still keeping 115 as my boundary, so we'll see if he's just stabilizing. We're getting calories in and just wondering if we're fighting another growth spurt. We'll stay the course for this month and see where we are in April.
Looking good with his hair cut!
Personality
He's thankfully stabilized his behaviors over the course of the past month and is much more like himself again. Eating and sleeping well allow our happy boy to be his happy self!
Developmental Changes
Thankfully, last months cycle of crazy seems to have dissipated. We are interested to see if another tooth has been lost when we have his spring dentist appointment. Honestly, if it is his teeth, I'm sticking to my saying that TEETH ARE THE WORST!
Overall, he's been doing well with his therapies and even made some gains in joint flexibility in PT, yay! He's still enjoying life, which is really all we want.
Having fun at the golf day for ACCESS students that our district organized.
Cartoon watching with Little Sister. When they find things to do together, it makes me so happy.
Fun Tidbits
For some reason, I have a bunch of pictures of Little Buddy in his pajamas this month. Sorry not sorry!
I'll take the slightly easier month for the win and hope that the trend continues with good eating, good sleeping, and maybe an extra pound or two!
Good night,
LBM
