Phase II Begins!

After a month off, we were ready to get back to Minnesota and begin treatments again for Phase II of the clinical trial!  I can't believe it's already been 6 months and we are at this stage!  This visit begins the next two years of our lives; two years we gladly give in hopes that Little Buddy gets the best chance at the best quality of life possible.  And we got a special treat this visit:  Aunt D came with us again!

"Wait, I'm on a plane again?  Feels like ages ago we did this!"

"Oh wait, it means I get my iPad again?  Ok, I remember what to do!"

Time to head to the hospital and start our Phase II procedures!

     

This little trooper made it through his spinal tap after a long wait!  He is ready to be released and get a grilled cheese!

"I'm happy in my heart, Momma."  

After a day of procedures, there is still joy in his soul.  I love this boy.

The next day was infusion day!  Thrilled to be back on this experimental drug and praying it is the miracle we need it to be!

Bumped up to first class for the flight home!  Ready to be back with our family to celebrate Christmas!
