I can't believe that the holidays are almost upon us! We are trying to stay in the moment this holiday season and to reflect on the blessings of this year and not the hardships. Understanding that everyone moment we have together as family is a blessing is my Christmas wish this year.
Our month is a little different this month! Since Little Buddy's six month evaluation in the clinical trial was the endpoint of Phase I of the trial, we get a week of travel off this month until we begin Phase II. I almost don't know what to do with myself with a glorious three straight weeks of no travel!
With that, it's been a low key month as Little Buddy's school semester winds down and we begin to gear up for the holidays.
Little Buddy was excited to get some mail from his friend Mr. R! It was pictures of Mr. R in his Army uniform for the Veterans Day program at Little Buddy's school, but they got lost in the mail. Little Buddy still loved to receive them, though! We miss you, Mr. R!
And here is some other excitement...he lost his second tooth and I got it!
I tried to get a good picture of him missing his two front bottom teeth, but no luck!
As Little Buddy prepares for Christmas with his new Christmas Snoopy pajamas...
...I've got one of his gifts ready to go! Can't wait to give him this custom medal rack for all of his race medals!
Height and Weight
He's weighing in at just under 60 pounds and still right around 47 inches.
Personality
Our sweet happy boy is just that.
Developmental Milestones
He strung a bead! By himself! This is truly a big deal as his fine motor skills have always been a little behind. I'm hoping that this is proof that the clinical trial is working and that his skills will still gain!
So proud of you, little man! Keep learning and growing!
Fun Tidbits
I love how Little Buddy finds joy in the little things we take for granted. He love to watch for the mail and "help" me sweep the house. Anything that makes him happy makes me happy too!
Easy ways to pass the day.
Hoping everyone else is having a stress free week as the holidays approach!
Good night,
LBM
