ACCEPTED!

We received the call today...Little Buddy has officially been accepted into the clinical trial for enzyme replacement therapy for Sanfilippo, Type B!

Ready or not Minnesota, here we come!

While this is exciting, it is still scary.  We leave Sunday for Little Buddy to have surgery for his port placement on Monday followed by his first infusion of the enzyme on Tuesday.  The idea of giving our child an experimental treatment and just praying that it helps is nerve-wracking, but it's all we can do.  We will do everything in our power to try to help our sweet boy!
