Well, you know how I say that we're always too busy? Guess what makes you busier? Buying a new house and moving! It's been a crazier month than usual with the move and the end of school year events, but we are hanging in there as best we can.
With all the chaos, I do have to say Little Buddy has been adjusting well to the big change. We are moving over bit by bit until the big move at the end of May in an attempt to get him use to his new environment.
Closing on the house!
Little Buddy seems to approve!
Enjoying the mariachi band at a gathering in the new neighborhood!
A fan of the park at the new neighborhood, which includes a swing that he can use!
Checking out our new couch!
Height and Weight
Staying consistent with 123 lbs. this month. I was nervous about this weigh in, so grateful all seems well. It seemed like he had a tooth bothering him again and was having trouble eating and sleeping. I am glad we managed to keep his calorie intake up!
Hey there handsome!
Personality
Still happy...when he is awake! He's been extra sleepy during the day this month and seemingly not getting good rest at night. Hoping for a turnaround soon, but he doesn't seem to be in pain or upset, so we do what we can. Damn teeth.
Developmental Changes
As I said, he's been very sleepy lately, along with having some trouble eating, but we are hoping that has more to do with another cursed loose molar than with Sanfilippo regression. He has been leaning to the right a bit more and we are working on that in physical therapy. Maybe it is exacerbated by his lack of rest? Time will tell. He is still enjoying his walks and his last few weeks of horse therapy!
I very much attribute a lot of his strength and mobility to his riding!
Fun Tidbits
Swim season has started for Little Season, so guess who has been at the pool ready to cheer her on!
That's all for now! By next month, Little Buddy will have graduated Intermediate School and be moving to high school...Eeep!
Good night,
