I know everyone has to be sick of all the Minnesota/hospital/travel pictures, but this really is not only a huge part of our life, but a huge chunk of our time. And I take a lot of pictures during it. Beyond hating this disease, beyond be grateful for this chance for my son, this is also MY time with my son. Just him and I. And I am not saying it's not hard. It is. But it's also OURS. We're together and I am trying to focus on that and treasure it.
Typical infusion day of TV watching and grilled cheese eating!
Seasoned airport traveler reading on the floor by an outlet.
All smiles as we get ready to go AGAIN!
iPad in plane, nap in the car, and finally arriving...
...to the hotel. Time to get cozy and go to bed!
And wash, rinse, repeat. My boy has so much WILLPower...
...that even Urban Meyer wants some!
Giving Snoopy our regards before heading home!
But it's time to go again!
We have this so down pat that Little Buddy is just going to fly us there this time!
Getting silly in the hotel bed...
...before passing out asleep in his clothes!
Happy Veteran's Day from WILLPower!
Unfortunately, we weren't the only ones with a hospital visit this month...
Normally Daddy is happy and smiling...
...unless he's in the hospital with a bad Crohn's attack. :( Little Buddy missed him so much and was so happy to get to see him. Thankfully, Daddy recovered well. Hopefully we won't have any episodes like this again for a long time!
Then to top it off, we had a sick Little Buddy for a day, too. Thankfully, it was short-lived, but hate it when he isn't feeling well.
Couch time in PJs with Momma until someone feels better.
But we have had a lot of fun things this month too! Like...
Field Day at school!
A visit from our friends K and D from Kentucky!
Family baking time!
And turkey races and Thanksgiving parties at school!
Height and Weight
He's still under 60 pounds and close to 47 inches.
Personality
Just a few of the many faces of my baby. Super sad and super chill.
Developmental Milestones
Still just doing so well! School seems to be agreeing with him. We'll know more at the end of the month when he goes for his neurocognitive testing for the trial.
Fun Tidbits
School pictures are in and I think they turned out great! My amazing kindergartener!
I love that smile!
What will next month bring us? We'll have to wait and see.
Always living in the moment but looking to the future.
Until next month,
LBM
