Race Day!

After all his training and hard work at Run Club, it was time for Little Buddy to run in The Woodlands 2k!  Not only would this be a fun race, but it would also complete his kids' "marathon" distance, an awesome accomplishment!

It was a bit cold and dark after the race, so we didn't get to stay and take pictures (or go to the group party to get his marathon medal), so we went home to pose for some pictures.  So proud of him!

      

Not to be denied, we stopped and picked up his marathon medal the next day (after momma ran her half marathon!).  He was so excited to model them both together!

As I've said before, Run Club has been great for us.  An awesome sport for him to join in that fits his needs perfectly.  We've already signed up for next year's 2k and we look forward to doing more Sunday runs as a family to keep us all in shape!
