"I'm ready!!!"
Momma was doing ok with everything as we dropped Little Buddy off. That is, until we buckled Little Sister back up in the car and she started crying and asking for "Brudder." Yup, that's when my tears started to fall. I need not have worried (though I did have a mini panic attack when his bus home was late, worried that he had gotten on the wrong bus or that they had forgotten him on the route--all unfounded. Just the weather slowing them down.) because he said he an awesome time. In fact, even when he got off the bus, he was ready to jump back on and go again!
Back home and so happy!
However, he was also insanely tired. After a few minor meltdowns, he just decided to throw in the towel and take an hour nap. He needed it. Hoping he adjusts to his new schedule soon!
"Momma, I'm tired. I'm just going to take a rest on the couch bed. Zzzzzz..."
So day one went well, even for me, so that's good. I missed my little monster quite a bit. It's so weird to go from having him every day to him now going to school five days a week. I know it's going to help him immensely, but I admit that I'm already counting down til Christmas break so I can hang out with my favorite little man again.
Have a good night,
LBM
