It's Fall, Y'all!

It's October and officially fall (although the weather doesn't seem to recognize it) and I'm dying to wear hoodies, drink warm apple cider, and carve pumpkins.  Unfortunately, fall in Texas is not fall in Ohio (an inequality that I still, after 8 years here, harbor bitterness toward).  But, feeling fall-ish coupled with a  relatively cool morning sent us to the local pumpkin patch!  It was Little Sweetie's first experience, and I think she had a good time!

Little Buddy going down the big slide...the only inflatable game he was even remotely interested in.  With three turns per ticket, I think he got our money's worth.

Our two turkeys on the hay bale turkey!

Picture time!

The search for the perfect pumpkin begins!

Brother found one!  But it was too heavy!

Sister's still on the hunt!

The two sweetest pumpkins in the patch!

A family ride on the train!

It was a lovely morning and we even got two good-sized pumpkins and one tiny pumpkin.  Now to decide if we carve or paint!  Hopefully the weather will cool down enough so that it actually feels like fall!

Good night,

LBM
