We've made it to November, hip hip hooray! "Normal" isn't coming back anytime soon, but we are happy that we are still making it work and keeping everyone as content and healthy as possible. One of the ways we do that is by continuing to find ways to safely have fun!
Getting our laps in for Run Club!
Working on our goal swing at Top Golf!
Got to try out our Halloween costumes at Zoo Boo with Uncle M and Aunt S!
Speaking of Halloween, we were glad to find some fun ways to safety celebrate the season!
Pumpkin shirt time!
First up...early "Trunk or Treat" for riders at Inspiration Ranch!
Picking out a perfect pumpkin at an appointment only pumpkin patch!
Great fun at a modified, socially distant Trick or Treat with friends at a park!
These skeletons are ready for bed after a fun Halloween!
And then this month we got to celebrate Veterans Day with this handsome guy!
Height and Weight
Up another pound to 92! And he's up to nearly 58.5 inches this month!
Mr. Smiles!
Personality
Time change was actually good for us this year! Will has seen happier and more alert in the afternoons. We're enjoying the extra engagement and smiles quite a bit.
Developmental Changes
Things are still doing well! Little Buddy adapted to time change and actually seems to be more interactive in the afternoons now with us and with his therapists. We keep working on all his skills and we have had a lot of help from a little helper lately.
Little Sweetie continues to look out for her brother. Now that she's a big first grader, she's taken the initiative to help guide him through his learning time and then read to him when he shows an interest in a book. And yes, the sweetness makes me tear up!
Physically, he's still doing well! Lots of good sleep and eating. We're a bit concerned about urine retention, but overall he's happy and we're happy.
I will never get tired of pictures of him sleeping so cozily!
Hungry, growing boy!
Fun Tidbits
Little Buddy has always loved Daniel Tiger, so we thought it would be fun to check out some old episodes of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. Unsurprisingly, he was as hooked by this wonderful man as I was when I was a kid.
"I like you, I like you, I like you, just the way you are."
One more month left this year, so hard to believe!
See you then,
LBM
