January 11, 2020

Well, the biggest part of our month was certainly our Florida trip, so let's dive into the adventures!

First, we started off enjoying Little Sweetie's Christmas program.  Our "A for Angel" in the Christmas Alphabet did fantastic with that and all her singing.  So glad we got to experience this before rushing to the airport!

She did so well!

Now, off to Florida!

Ready to fly!

Team WILLPower on the way to the MPS Conference!

So excited to connect again with our dear friends, the M family!  Little Buddy was happy to see J and Little Sweetie and M had a great time together.

After attending all of the conference events, it was time to begin the memory making portion of our trip.  Next stop, Disney!

Loving Legoland at Christmas!

Our final adventure of the trip began with breakfast in bed (Little Sweetie's favorite new thing), our alumni visit to Give Kids the World, and dinner with more Sanfilippo families.

Someone could get use to this type of life!

Ready to enjoy the day at Give Kids the World!

Getting the royal treatment!

We found Little Buddy's wishing star!

Finding our paver...so many memories from our Make-A-Wish trip came washing back over us.

We were thrilled to run into our friend, R, and to find out that they boys' pavers were actually next to each other!  Kismet!

Enjoying the Give Kids the World playground!

So nice to be able to visit again!

The C family hosted such a lovely visit for us and the M and S family.  Always such a blessing to be with other Sanfilippo families.

Soon enough it was time to head back home...which would bring Christmas, a trip to New Braunfels, and New Year's adventures!

Looks like we finally wore these two out!

Headed to Disney Springs for a little shopping before heading home!

Running off some energy before getting on the plane!

Little Buddy in his new Mickey fedora, ready to go home for Christmas!

Even though we were tired from traveling, we remember cookies for Santa and treats for the reindeer!

Santa came!

The reindeer got their treats!

Little Sweetie was happy with her presents!

And so was Little Buddy!

After spending Christmas at home, we got up early the next day to head to New Braunfels to see Mimi, Pop-Pop, Uncle C, and Aunt A!  Time for second Christmas!

Little Buddy hanging out with Pop-Pop and Uncle C!

Gingerbread house decorating!

Little Buddy enjoying his new soccer ball!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Then it was time to ring in 2020!

Little Buddy enjoyed some firecrackers!

We then decided to start the New Year on a high, by indoor skydiving!

Ready to fly like a super hero!

Super Little Buddy!

Super Little Sister!

As much fun as we were having, all the togetherness can lead to a little (or a lot of) craziness!

He knocked down her block tower.  Eep.

Just trying to survive break!

Sometimes, you just need to get out of the house and RUN!

Height and Weight
Little Buddy is growing again.  Strong boy at 90.2 pounds and up to 56.5 inches.

Growing like a weed!

Personality
Our happy boy!  We've also instituted a new bedtime policy in the new year.  It was mostly in an effort to get Little Sweetie to bed about 15 minutes earlier because she needed the extra rest.  However, it's resulted in a slightly earlier bedtime for Little Buddy too and we've noticed how much more energetic he's been and how much easier it's been to wake him up in the morning.

My happy boy!

Developmental Changes
Seemingly more calm lately, as evidenced by the fairly low-key hair cut.  You never know if calm is good or bad in the Sanfilippo world, though, but he seems content and that is what matters most.

Pretty still for a hair cut!

Fun Tidbits
With all our travels, Momma hadn't had time to make him his Christmas pumpkin pie!  I made up for it in January and he immediately forgave me.

Yum, yum, yummy, yum, yum!

I'm still in awe that we've already made it into another year...the year our boy will turn 10!!  So hard to believe.  But we're blessed to have it and are happy to keep living in the moment!

Happy New Year,

LBM
