So much love!
Having Ms. A home was a huge help for us because, as usual, we kicked off our Thanksgiving with the annual Run through the Woods. With Momma AND Daddy competing in the 5 mile run this year, we were thankful for Ms. A to help out as the kids both ran their 1 mile race!
Ready to run!
These kids are ready to go!
Go Little Buddy!
A picture with all the kids with their medals and looking?!?!? Definitely something to be thankful for!
Happy to celebrate Turkey Day!
A little Thanksgiving crafting!
Little Buddy is, as always, thankful for PIE!
We decided to go a little crazy over Thanksgiving break and try something new...going to Santa's Wonderland! This is a big Texas Christmas tradition for so many of our friends, but we hadn't worked up the nerve to try it yet. It's a bit of a drive and we are always a little nervous taking Little Buddy into new situations, but we hoped that seeing the lights and experiencing the atmosphere would be a good kick off of Christmas spirit, so we gave it a go! There was a lot going on, but Little Buddy really enjoyed the carriage ride to look at lights and then also the train ride!
Waiting to go into Santa's Wonderland!
Train ride time!
We took full advantage of the family time Thanksgiving break offered us and also went out and caught a movie! As always, we are so thankful for sensory friendly showings of movies!
Ready to watch Wreck It Ralph Breaks the Internet!
With Thanksgiving over, we began to gear up for Christmas at full steam!
Making his advent wreath at Faith Formation!
Santa, we know him!
I think it's safe to say that these two are ready for the fun of Christmas to begin!
When we're not holidaying around, we're just enjoying every regular moment together!
Love lazy pajama days!

Bedtime stories. Never taking one moment for granted!
Height and Weight
Staying close to just over 54 inches and now 76 pounds.
Can't get enough of this sweet smile in his 3rd grade pictures!
Personality
Very goofy and happy, except in the late afternoons where he seems to be very tired and grumpy.
My two favorite goofballs!
Developmental Changes
He's been doing overall pretty well lately, just noticing him being quieter. Don't know if that's because of the lack of speech therapy or how tired he has been seeming in the evening lately. We have been seeing good self-feeding work though!
Of course he'll use his fork to eat pie!
Nom nom nom.
Fun Tidbits
After Little Buddy's Make-A-Wish trip in 2015, we sponsored a paver with his name on it at Give Kids the World Village. We just recently received a picture of it and it makes my heart happy to remember what a wonderful trip this was!
Can't wait to go back to see it in person!
That's it for 2018! We'll see you in the New Year!
Later gator,
LBM
