October 11

Thankfully October, although busy, was less scary and stressful than our September with our Little Buddy!  We were able to get life back on track a bit, which was much needed for all parties!

First thing to celebrate?  Being home and sleeping in our own beds!  HOORAY!

Next thing? Being released by the infectious disease specialist!

So happy our Little Buddy is so much better!

Next milestone:  Now that he was released, he could go back to school!

And back to horse therapy!

And he could also go back to Run Club!  It will be awhile before his lung capacity is back up, but we are so happy to see him up and running again!

Also, since someone was feeling better and released from the hospital, he was able to participate in Little Sister's 5th birthday pictures!  We will NEVER take these pictures for granted and are blessed to have them.

A few of our candid shots with our favorite boy!

The professional shots!

We'll finish out the month cheering our Astros on and hoping for another World Series win!

All smiles about the Astros advancing in the playoffs!

Height and Weight
Back up to 70 pounds, woo!!!  Gaining all that weight back.  Height is just a hair above 54 inches.

Personality
Very happy lately, although sometimes easily over-excitable.  But just happy to have my boy back!

Developmental Changes
Doing really well overall and working hard with his occupational therapist.  We are still without speech therapy currently, but we keep fighting to get it back.

A nice surprise, someone accidentally wrote his name while scribbling!

Fun Tidbits

Momma volunteered on Picture Day at Little Buddy's school so as to help make sure we had school picture success--I'd say it was worth it with that adorable smile!

Hoping for an enjoyable rest of the month with more just normal life!

Until then,

LBM
